A change in the air..
Apr. 12th, 2018 12:11 pmtimefragmentmodSo it's been suggested that the group needs something a little more concrete to do on the level of day to day interactions. I have at least two thoughts on this but I want to hear your input!
1. Everyone gets normal jobs
2. Everyone, as we do have a pretty healthy set of heroes, gets a particular location to act as that portion of the city's protector. For example - Barry watches over Camelot, Savitar gets Rome and so on. It gets them something to do that's more in line with what they did at home.
3. Wildcard? Your suggestions? Thoughts?

Apr. 1st, 2018 12:33 pmtimefragmentmod4/2 - 4/11: Alignment swap! Are you a good guy? Want to explore your wild side? Go for it. What's good is bad and what's bad is good. Morally grey types can swing wildly from one side to the other. Have fun with it! Turn it into a crisis. Save the day.
4/20 - 4/30: Let's do the time warp!
Those darn time storms are at it again. Fling your character forwards or backwards in time to different canon points. Is your character now an old man? A teenager? Worse? Remember to keep it appropriate when kids are involved.
The times between events are to thread out any backlogs or just deal with the aftermath.
Next month - bigger event!!

Events - pacing and a reminder

The overall pacing for events needs to be discussed and I want to hear everyone's thoughts. We can't have a continual stream of over-arching larger plots (simply because they take time to come up with and sketch out) so the idea is to break it up. All of the event time frames can be altered at any time - remember this is a sandbox so nothing is set in stone.
April will have two events of shorter duration:
One week for the event, one week for an aftermath and any backtagging, another week for another event followed by another week of downtime.
May will potentially have a longer event lasting most of the month.
Events will continue to be a mix of crack and serious.
Players can submit and run their own plots at ANY time. This isn't a full bore game so you don't need my OK to do anything unless it involves changing the landscape of the game.

Don't forget that an event is just kicking off if you're looking for things to do.
If you haven't had any/much activity in the last month please understand that's fine. We get it. But if you're going to be gone for extended periods, please at least check in with canon mates so they know what's going on with your people and what they might be up to behind the scenes.

Event planning - Stormy skies
Feb. 25th, 2018 10:03 amtimefragmentmodAs the dragons begin to diminish in number and appearance, something strange takes their place. Pockets of temporal radiation, swirling green/black yellow pockets of trouble.
With the increase in radiation - anyone who was brought to this broken version of LA and given powers, powers they did not have in their world, will begin to sicken.
I need a list of volunteers, those who will be impacted by this illness first.
As always, you can opt out, participation is always voluntary.

Here There Be Dragons - event discussion

That’s right. Because things aren’t weird enough, new creatures are popping up.
Dragons.
Some are multi-ton behemoths flying in lazy circles overhead (MUCH to the consternation of Camelot) while others may be swimming in the lake or attempting to contact the dinosaurs thinking them long lost cousins and others having far too much fun with technology in order to indulge their curiosity
Some of the dragons are like the monsters of old, seeking only treasure and a good fight. Others are deeply curious about humans and what they’re doing? Why? How? While others want to investigate and poke around in anything and everything they can get their talons on.
So yes. Have fun with that.

So this means that for the next two weeks dragons are going to be everywhere. Every and any iteration of a dragon you can think of. Mindless monster, sentient and curious creature and even nuisances getting into everything.
Their powers can range the gamut of any dragon based canon. Ice, fire, poison, even sonic booms.

It's time for our first check in. Per the rules while there is no AC, you are asked to at least check in once a month, even if you haven't done any tags within that time frame.
Please comment below if you intend to keep your character active in the sandbox, if you are taking them on hiatus or if you need to let things go. No harm no foul, this is all for the sake of communication and so that the players all know when someone comes or goes.
Include any CR you would like to develop, people you want to thread with or things you want to get up to!
